There are many ways to get involved with Lion's Camp Hickory.
DonateDonations of money, food, or equipment are all gratefully appreciated. Call (315) 638-3328 to see if your business can assist us with goods or services, or to arrange for a financial contribution.VolunteerLion's Camp Hickory seeks qualified volunteers for the two weeks of camp in July. Volunteers help with the day-to-day activities of camp and may work as many or as few hours as their schedule permits.Volunteers will be required to attend a training session and pass screening through the NYS Sex Predators Database. It is a general policy of Lion's Camp Hickory, Inc. not to accept parents of campers as volunteers or as staff during camp. We have found in the past that parents being onsite during the camp is distracting to the campers and can lead to misunderstandings. Consequently, we will generally not accept staff applications from a camper's parent(s) but advise the parent(s) of other volunteer opportunities. Parents are encouraged to participate during the frenetic days of set-up the week before camp or to get involved in fund raising opportunities. Click here for a volunteer application. The application must be filled out and mailed to the address listed on the application. The deadline to apply for this year's camp is May 4, 2012.
